The Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturers and Importers (ALLMI) is dedicated to promoting the safe use of lorry loaders.

Founded in 1978 at the request of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), ALLMI draws from the expertise of manufacturers, service agents and fleet owners to promote best practice.

ALLMI courses are designed to ensure that lorry loader operators and users receive sufficient quality of training to be able to use a lorry loader in a safe & efficient manner, in line with legislation and codes of practice.

As an owner of several lorry loaders, Emerson has the knowledge & experience to provide you with first class training under the ALLMI scheme.

Further information on ALLMI is available at: http://www.allmi.org/

>> Importance of ALLMI

ALLMI highlights the importance (and legal requirement) of Thorough Examinations and load tests being carried out only by engineers who are “competent” to perform these procedures.  One of the most effective ways for end users to be sure of this is to use an ALLMI accredited Examiner.

ALLMI’s training scheme comes from years of technical knowledge from its committee. In addition to the professional members of the committee, the Health and Safety Executive is also represented. ALLMI operator training is the only lorry loader training programme that is commended by the Health & Safety Executive.
